“Shtil” from “Aircraft Equipment”


“Start” research and development enterprise, part of the holding ” Aircraft Equipment ” Rostec, will present a unique anti-aircraft missile system of medium-range “Shtil-1″at the VI International Maritime Defense Show. Other holding companies will also participate in the IMDS-2013.

According to the general director of the holding company ” Aircraft Equipment ” Maxim Kuzyuk, this missile system is designed to launch rockets that protect ships from attacks of anti-ship missiles, planes, helicopters and boats. The unique technical solution makes it possible to use rockets, both small and middle classes, depending on the task.


Zorya-Mashproekt to Supply Energy Equipment to CNOOC


State Enterprise Gas Turbine Scientific Production Complex Zorya-Mashproekt (Mykolaiv) will supply a next batch of energy equipment in the interests of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), the press service of the enterprise has told Interfax-Ukraine.

The press service said that recently Zorya-Mashproekt signed a contract with Harbin Marine Boiler and Turbine Research Institute (China) on supply of two 6 MW gas turbines equipped with DT71 gas turbine engine. The turbines will be installed at CNOOC’s facilities. Energy equipment will be supplied by the end of the year.

Nevsky Shipyard Launches Neva-Leader 5 of project RSD49


On July 2, 2013 Nevsky Shipyard LLC launched M/V Neva-Leader 5, fifth vessel in the series of 10 dry cargo carriers of project RSD49 being built for North-Western Shipping Company OJSC according to the project developed by Marine Engineering Bureau.

Currently, the RSD49 vessels (like their predecessors of RSD19) are so far the largest of dry cargo ships that satisfy the dimensions of Volga-Don Shipping Canal.

The Volga-Don Max vessels of mixed river-sea sailing are designed for transportation of general and bulk cargoes, including steel, grain, timber, coal, oversized and heavy-lift and dangerous cargoes in the Caspian Sea and the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Baltic, White and North seas, including sailings around Europe and in the Irish Sea during winter season.

The series vessel (in contrast to other Volga-Don max class ships created by Marine Engineering Bureau) features a 52-m-long middle cargo hold for shipping oversized project cargo on direct Europe – Caspian Sea lane. This should make the vessel operation cost-effective.

6th International Maritime Defence Show Opening in St. Petersburg


One of the most influential maritime forums – the 6th International Maritime Defence Show – is opening in St. Petersburg. Of importance here is the fact that the processes developing in shipbuilding today and the decisions taken in this field will determine the fate of the Russian Navy and the fate of the Russian shipbuilding industry for tens of years ahead.

There are nearly 40 ships and boats by the wall. There are also helicopters there. Besides, there one can see the exhibition stands of dozens of companies and firms, including gigantic concerns and small private companies producing naval equipment.  Ship models, the mass-produced state-of–the-art equipment, and accompanying goods will also be displayed on the exhibition stands.

“NizhSpetsAvto” Produced Manipulator with KamAZ 43118 Chassis with Fassi F 245 Loader Crane


“NizhSpetsAvto” plant produced auto manipulator KAMAZ 43118 with Italian loader crane Fassi F 245.

The basis of the manipulator is Kamaz 43118, load capacity of which is 12 tons. Three-axle chassis that has reliable running gear and terrain that allows the vehicle to move easily. Manual gearbox of ZF production, mounted on this chassis, can be integrated into a single system and provides a high level of control.

Fassi F 245 loader crane with load moment 7.7 t / m is mounted on KamAZ 43118 chassis. Payload of the vehicle after loader crane installation is 8.5 tons. The unit is equipped with an automatic overload protection system.
