Is “Triumph” Promised to the Chinese?


Russia decided on the first foreign customer, which will be authorized to purchase the latest Russian air defense systems S-400 “Triumph” for their armed forces.

The Russian President agreed in principle to the sale these complexes to China. Now the parties are negotiating on a number of systems and their cost. Nevertheless, even in the event of specific agreements they will be able to obtain the complexes not before 2016.

It reminds edition that the Chinese Defense Ministry has expressed interest in buying S- 400 , in FSMTC reported back in 2012 .

FSMTC director Alexander Fomin on March 27 said that the parties continue negotiations on supplying systems S-400 to Beijing, and a source close to the Kremlin said that “it is done with the personal approval of Vladimir Putin who gave the green light to supply of air defense systems to China.”


7-th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2014 to Take Place Soon


For the seventh year in a row the International helicopter industry exhibition HeliRussia will take place in the comfortable walls of the IEC “Crocus Expo” on May 22-24, 2014.

It is the only exhibition in Russia where national and foreign companies present the world achievements of the whole range of products and services of the helicopter industry – from design to production and operation.

The exhibition is being held in accordance with the Russian Federal Government order and permits demonstration of military purpose products.

Russian Black Sea Fleet to Replenish 30 Ukrainian Ships


Russian Black Sea Fleet will replenish over 30 ships and support vessels, previously formed part of the Ukrainian Navy, RIA Novosti reported, citing a source in the headquarters of the fleet. Before the adoption of the Ukrainian Black Sea Fleet ships will pass all examinations technical condition. It is possible that part of the ships will be sent for recycling.

Conduct technical evaluation will be experts of the Russian Navy shipyards and the Black Sea Fleet. We are talking about ships and vessels that have fallen under the control of the Russian military after the Crimea to Russia.

Institute of Applied Chemistry to Use Robots in Production


Institute of Applied Chemistry set a new robotic system IRB- 4600 for the production of Bengal candles. This will increase output by 30%.

The installation of the new hardware is implemented in the framework of the modernization of production.

Robotic system IRB- 4600 consists of two interacting robots that perform operations on the putting on metal rods special pyrotechnic composition, then send the candles on further drying and packaging.

The equipment is advanced software that does not require a long process of readjustment to the new operation. This will avoid downtime and improve productivity.

“Schwabe” Science City to be Created in Tatarstan


In Tatarstan on the platform “Smart City Kazan” will be created an innovative engineering center – science city “Schwabe”. Project was discussed by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of the Rostec optical holding “Schwabe” Sergei Maxine.

During the meeting, Sergei Maxine said that already “road map” of the project . President of Tatarstan, in his turn, suggested that a working group should be created for its phased development.

The project of optoelectronic engineering center creation – City of Science “Schwabe” was presented in Kazan in October 2013 during the visiting session of the Military-Industrial Commission under the Government of Russia with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

“KAMATEYNER” Interested Dmitry Medvedev


During the working visit to Tatarstan the Prime Minister of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev was introduced an innovative product of “KAMAZ” – project ” KAMATEYNER”.

During the presentation, held at the site of the Kazan State Power Engineering University, the Russian prime minister watched with interest the represented KAMAZ trucks with containers and got acquainted with the principles of their work. Deputy Director General of “KAMAZ” Sales and Service Pavel Kanichev told the Prime Minister and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov about the implementation of the project and its cost-effectiveness for Russia.

Russian Interior Troops to Welcome Internal Troops of Crimea


Russian Interior Ministry troops will be united with the internal troops stationed in the Crimea. This was stated by First Deputy Minister, Commander of Interior Troops of the Russian Federation Nikolai Rogozhkin.

“Now our challenge is to take in the Internal Troops of Russian forces on the territory of Crimea. We will organize the process of excepting these troops, as well as the optimization of the operational formation of the staff,” said Rogozhkin.

Corvette “Stoiky” Continues State Tests in the Baltic Sea


The crew of the corvette “Stoiky” brought the ship into the sea for the continuation of the marine state trials in the ranges of combat training of the Baltic Fleet after a forced break caused by raging storm in the Kaliningrad region .

During the state testing representatives of the factory acceptance testing team together with the ship’s crew and members of the state selection committee led by its chairman, Captain of the 1st Rank Viktor Ivanov conducted maneuvering and speed tests of the corvette, checked the operation of all assemblies, systems and components, ship weapons, navigation and radio aids.

Roscosmos Head visited “Vostochny” Cosmodrome


On March 27 head of Roscosmos Oleg Ostapenko together with Deputy Prime Minister of the Amur region, the Minister for construction of the cosmodrome Constantine Chmarovym inspected the construction sites of technical complex of “Soyuz- 2” rocket and the residential area of the cosmodrome.

As the press service of the Russian Space Agency, in administrative buildings of the assembly and testing shop works on the floor slab, erection of walls and partitions are being conducted. The metal structures and panels are being installed.

The head of the agency also examined the launch complex of the rocket “Soyuz-2”, the processing unit, the complex measurement tools, administrative building construction and operational base of the cosmodrome.

Russian Military in Tajikistan to Drive New “Ural”


More than forty trucks “Ural-4320” entered into service at the 201st Russian military base stationed in Tajikistan, told RIA Novosti on Wednesday , March 26, 2014 , a spokesman for the Central Military District, Colonel Jaroslav Roschupkin said.

“More than 40 cars of combined arms destination “Ural-4320″ went into action with 201 artillery units of the Russian military base stationed in Tajikistan,” he said.
