KRET developed a new navigation system for the PAK FA
Concern Radio-electronic technology (as part of the state corporation Rostec) created a modernized Strapdown Inertial Navigation Systems BINS-SP2M for the fifth-generation fighter T-50 (PAK FA).
The system autonomously handles navigation and flight information, determines the position and motion parameters in the absence of satellite navigation, and provides integration with the military constellation of satellites and GLONASS.
Guaranteed life cycle BINS-SP2M – not less than 10 thousand hours- is almost twice higher than that of their foreign counterparts.
